“Lucien is fine,” Cormac said, easing the tension that was building in our hearts.
“At least physically fine,” Josh commented under his breath.
“What does that mean?” Kate asked the rather obvious question.
“Our enemies learned about all our war strategies, and they are getting the best of the pack army,” Cormac said, “Lucien sent us back to reinforce the pack's army,” he said, pausing with a sad facial expression.
“That's a good thing right?” Eve asked. Her curiosity and innocence were beautiful to see.
“He's fighting to the death,” Josh said, with an evident downcast.
