That's what the pack has turned to. I didn't even know why everything had turned into such turbulence. The turmoil of what I was about to be faced with hit me and the conjugation of what had become of the pack was saddening.
“Are you sure you want to go and speak with him? I don't think it's such a good decision,” Katie warned.
I knew that she had such a good point but I couldn't let the fear be the one to hold me back. She eyes me one more time, giving me the perpetual look of pity.
I roll my eyes, sickened by the expression plastered on her face and how she's underestimating me. I may have been weak before but now I can face anything and I would let the sky be my limit.
I arrived at the chamber door, gulping down a large sum of my saliva before knocking on the door
