“Where have you been?” One of the warriors asked upon my arrival at the camp entrance.
“I…uhm…wandered a bit,” I said, in an unsure tone.
“The leader sent for you two hours ago,” One of the rogue warriors said. I have been able to identify any of the warriors since they wore masks all the time.
“Oh, my,” I exclaimed, “can I go see him now?” I asked, advancing past the warriors.
“No, you can't,” the warrior grabbed me by the arm and pulled me backward, “you only see the leader when you are sent for, and now his orders are you go to your tent and remain there,” he was quite emphatic.
I walked slowly, realizing that I had left cage life to cage life, just in a different location, this being less luxurious.
“Ma'am, I feared that you had fled,” Eve rushed to me with a tight hug as I enter
