Realizing at that moment that Lucien had set me up on a date with Alec had me decide on moving on, no matter the cost. It appeared I was the only one tormented by this mate bond, but not anymore. I decided to have a great time and for once, think about myself. No more Lucien. I had paid enough for my sins and he could perish for all I now care. He wanted me out with Alec so bad, he lied I was ill to get me out of chores. I felt stupid for getting excited about being asked to be Luna, I for once thought that we agreed on something.
