Two vortexes of water suddenly started whirling around me and I quickly took steps backward, realizing that the vortexes were upside down just before Arianna and Selise dropped from the centre of the vortexes circles and the vortexes disappeared. My eyes widened slightly as I took in an unconscious Arianna, and Selise who was positively frantic with alarm. Selise glanced around wildly as her chest rose and fell rapidly before her eyes focused on me. “What… What happened? Where…”
That’s when it clicked. They had been the ones riding the dragons.
“You’re alright,” I said as I moved to her side, wrapping my arms around her, and the rain stopped abruptly before I looked up to see that the dragons were now on the ground. “You’re alright.”
“Selise," Milan called out and I looked up
