Reid followed me silently to the car which was already waiting for us. He was glancing at me every two seconds as if he had something to say or ask.
"Spill it now," I said.
"What did you talk to her about?" he asked. I had sent him away when I talked to Aira before.
"So you want to know my private conversations now?" I asked.
"So now you don't want your friend to know about it?" he asked.
I remained silent.
"Did you ask her out?" he asked.
"No. She asked me out." I said. He stared at me.
"You are invited too, Brianna is accompanying us."
"When are we going?" he asked.
"TBD," I said.
My mind drifted back to last night's conversation when I had said that the babies are mine and how Aira had reacted. This time I should be careful and try not to provoke her.
