"Madam Olivia, where have you been? Why didn’t I see you when I woke up?" Maltida's voice was laced with concern.
Olivia chose to ignore the question, redirecting the conversation. "Any updates?" she asked curtly.
Maltida's response was measured. "Well, nothing significant for now, except for the news about Lucas and Maddie's upcoming wedding. I'm sure you've seen it."
Olivia's grip on the steering wheel tightened, but her voice remained even. "Okay. And what about the arrangements for tomorrow?"
"Yes, ma'am, everything is ready," Maltida replied, her tone professional. "The bags are packed, and the itinerary is set. You'll be all set for your trip to New York."
