"Abeoji why do you trust the females guards than the males"the crown prince asked
"Baek hyun you saw first hand what she did with the barbarians" the king said
"The men can equally do that also"baek hyun argued
"Would you like Yuri to be your personal guard"the king asked with a smile
"Yuri? Is that her name?"he asked
"Yes would you like her to be your personal guard"the king repeated
"I'll think about that I have to see mother and that ugly girl"Baek-hyun said with a smile as he left his father's room.
Getting to the other palace which the queen dowager, queen and princess inhabited.
He looked around,it's been long he had moved to Ming since he was 6 to study, now he's back everyone expecting him to take the throne which is not clearly in his agenda.
Suddenly he saw a girl staring at the small pond accompanied by few court girls.
Is that his sister? When did she get Sooooo....he shaked his head not knowing what he would compare her with.
She was pretty though, he went and approached her.
"Dugusaeyo?" He asked and the girl looked up to him.
He was impressed she was really beautiful.
"Your highness" she bowed slightly
"A pleasure meet you am Su-ri"she introduced with a smile
"Who are......"his words were cut off immediately
"Crown prince"he heard the queen dowager excited voice
"Halmeoni"he laughed and went to hug the old woman, the woman in turned laughed glad to see her grandson.
"When did you arrive"
"Not long...went to see father first"he said
"I see you met the crown princess"queen dowager said and his eyes widened,he looked at the girl and she looked away in embarrassment
"Oh" was all he said
"Well chat away I have business to attend then later you continue the stories in your letter"queen dowager laughed and left with her Entourage.
"So how was....." Su-ri started but Baek-hyun cut her off.
"Sorry I have to meet my mother and sister" and with that he rushed off
Su-ri looked disappointed,she had been living in the palace for 3 years now, everyday she was looking forward in meeting the crown prince and now he isn't giving her audience.
**_YU-RI'S CHAMBER_**
In her chamber she and Shin sat drinking wine when shin started a discussion
"What do you think about the crown prince" shin asked
"What about him...I don't think anything about him except that he's awesomely handsome and he's a rude brat"Yuri said as she drank
"Seriously"shin laughed
"Why are you asking about him...do you want to go out with him"
"What no .....where should I put my beloved Sang-ho"shin laughed as she drank her cup empty
"Am shipping you two"shin added and yuri stared at her before laughing
"You're crazy....or crazier"
"What why you admit he's handsome"
"What about the crown princess"Yuri asked
"Well I don't know tie her in a sack and throw her over a cliff"shin said and Yuri looked at her friend
"You're are the craziest person I've ever seen"
"If you had seen how he was staring at you during the journey, he's totally smitten by a badass female general"shin said
"Ha enough about him...we are going to hyang tonight, to the border"
"Alright who are we going with" shin asked
"Seo-hyun"Yuri said
"That crazy bastard...I'll be the one to kill him someday"
"Come on Shin why do you hate him...as for me I don't like him and I don't hate him....to me he doesn't exist"
"He clearly hates you ever since the king appointed you general he's been jealous....you've taken all the glory and anyone that hates you is my enemy"
"Well that his problem cause I didn't ask for it fate gave it to me"Yuri said and stood up.
"Let's go select the girls going with us"she added and shin nodded before quickly downing her drink and existing with Yu-ri
"Yuri"the king said with a smile as she walked in and bowed.
"Your majesty"she bowed
"I have another assignment for you"he said and Yuri looked up wondering what the assignment was.
"Yes your majesty"
"I want you to be a personal guard to Baek-hyun"The king said and yuri looked at the king
"But your majesty..."
"Yuri please"the king looked on and yuri breathed annoyingly but bowed to the king
"Your wish is my command"she said and the king smiled
"Thank you very much,make sure you always be with him and protect him Don't let anyone near him except you or his mother, sister and me"the king instructed
"Hand over all your other duties to Shin"the king added and Yuri nodded
"Alright your majesty"she bowed and left.
She got outside and kicked the small innocent stone angrily, why will the king tell her to be a personal guard to that rude brat.
"Ouch"she heard someone yelp and she looked up, there was the talk of the Devil the rude brat.
"Why would you stone me"he asked rubbing his knee then standing upright
"It wasn't intentional"she rolled her eyes
"And.....' Baek-hyun asked expectantly
"And what" Yuri snapped
"Are you not supposed to apologize if it's not intentional"he said
"It has never been in my agenda to apologize"she said walking down the stairs to Meet him
"You're a proud brat" he said and began to walk away and Yuri followed, realising she was following him he stopped and looked back
"Why are you following me"he asked with his brow raised
"As from this moment I am your personal guard I've sworn to the king to protect you"she said and Baek-hyun's eyes widened.
"What....why would father say or do such"
"Because you clearly need it"Yuri said and he sighed.
"I don't need a body guard"he scoffed and started to walk away,Yuri followed quietly and scared him from behind he jumped hugging Yuri, Yuri smacked his knee with the hilt of her sword
"And you don't need one?"Yuri laughed
Fine you win"he said
As they were about to leave Suri met them.
Honestly this was the first time Yuri was seeing the crown princess.
She was beautiful and composed
"Your highness"she bowed with a smile and Baek-hyun sighed already bored. Her presence alone bored him.
"Crown princess"he acknowledged nodding his head
"I wanted to speak with you"she said smiling with every word she says
"Am all ears"he said folding his hands to the back
"In presence of her"the crown princess raised her brow looking at Yuri like she was dirty or something... Yuri's temper rose to a hundred and above clutching her sword tightly.
Baek-hyun looked back at Yuri who was visibly boiling with anger and then back at Suri.
"Is she not human and per say she's my personal guard"
"Well the queen dowager said to come to the garden and talk come"she said and made to touch Baek-hyun but Yuri swiftly put her unseathed sword on her neck, Suri swallowed hard, the prince was suprised.
"You are not authorized to touch him, move we'll follow closely"she glared and the crown princess's heart double flipped.
"V...very well"she said not having a choice and she turned towards the direction of the garden
"Yu-ri"Baek-hyun called
"Just move already you too"she said still clearly pissed off.

Getting to the garden which was filled with different species of flowers and fruit trees, a table was already sat and both sat down, the crown princess maids stood afar but Yuri stood behind the crown prince.
"Could you please excuse us it's a discussion between couples"Su-ri said getting irritated
"I don't answer to you...it's either the king or him"Yuri said
"Please excuse us Yuri"Baek-hyun said and Yuri glared at the crown princess before leaving and sitting on the largest tree in the garden.
"So what did you want to talk about"he asked
"Well the queen dowager said to get to know each other since we would be couples soon"Su-ri said with a smile
"Princess Su-ri I hate to Break this but I'm not interested in getting married to you"
"What... but...but you have no..."
"Yes I have no choice but would you rather marry someone you love or marry someone you're forced to marry...I don't love you... ain't attracted to you in any way"
"But you are attracted to your personal guard"she said looking at the prince anger visible on her face.
"What"Baek-hyun asked confused
"I see the way you look at her"
"If you're done saying nonsense I would like to leave"Baek-hyun said and got up immediately leaving...he walked past the tree where Yuri sat but Yuri let him leave.
Is he really attracted to her?!
