Angelo and I wait for the hours to pass and for the protective cover of nightfall to come again. My body is humming with excitement as we quietly shut the door of the little shack behind us.  I can’t wait to see this horrid woman finally get what’s coming to her, and the vengeful joy is consuming me. I’m trying to convince myself that my excitement has nothing to do with being close to Lucas again, but I know deep down that I’m craving his presence too.
