Chapter 25 Running Dane drove the ute back to Hamilton, neither looking at Sophia nor engaging in conversation. Darren itched to occupy the other back seat but Dane kept him up front. Sophia wasn’t sure if he meant to deny her any friendly company or protect her from Darren’s heightened interest at the tension between the golden couple.
