Chapter 2: The Cold Wedding

The next morning, Tamanna stood in front of the mirror in a red wedding saree. Her eyes were swollen from crying all night. She didn't want this marriage. But she had no choice. Her father's surgery was today and the hospital needed 5 lakh taka.

Her phone rang. It was the hospital. "Miss Tamanna, the operation is scheduled for 11am. We need the payment before that."
