He got the sense that they were heading out of the car park in the direction of Tahiche, but he couldn’t be sure. It was hard to manoeuvre himself out of lying flat on his face on the back seat. Mick had tied his hands behind his back. But that wasn’t why he struggled to sit up. When he finally did manage to twist his torso around and get himself into a sitting position, he winced with pain and the world spun. He’d cracked the side of his head on the door frame as Eric shoved him into the backseat.
