COSTA TEGUISE GOLF COURSE, SATURDAY 16 MARCH 2019Eggs and bacon were the order of the day before a round of golf. Something about being out in the fresh air all morning gave Billy a hearty appetite. Although on this particular morning he wasn’t that hungry and had to force himself to carry through on his ritual, flipping his eggs and sliding three rashers of bacon onto his warmed plate. He couldn’t put his finger on why, exactly, but since that nightmare the other day he’d felt uneasy, and his do-nothing Friday had not done him any good. But a routine was important, especially now he was grieving, and he would never let down a friend.
