When Ollie got down into the cellar, he found the young lady unconscious and in a heap at the foot of the wooden stairs, which on balance wasn't any great surprise, and rather ironic when one considers that it was a surprise that had caused her to lose her balance and end up unconscious and in a heap at the foot of the wooden stairs in the first place. He checked her over, and other than a small bump on her head she seemed perfectly fine, apart from being unconscious and in a heap at the foot of the wooden stairs of course.
