Six months later, Sasha was in her office when her phone rang, she looked at the screen and found out it was her mother-in-law that was calling, she answered it.
“Hello, Mom,” she said.
“Sasha dear, where are you?” Vanessa’s soft elegant voice was anxious this time around.
Sasha instinctively knew that something was wrong and her heart pounded.
“I’m at the office, is anything wrong?” she asked.
She heard Vanessa sigh.
“Come to the hospital, Michael had an accident.”
The first reaction Sasha had was too frozen, her brain paused for a moment before it continued, she tried hard to understand what she just heard.
“Hello, Sasha, did you hear me?” She heard Vanessa ask from the other end of the call.
