At the airport the next morning, there were a few tears at the happy outcome of the visit. My mom hugged the Edmonds, Mike, and me. Dad did the less emotional handshakes, although Brett and I got a straight man hug, as well.
“Just remember, all four of you. Never take your relationships for granted. Never let the sun go down on an argument. Most importantly, if any one of you hurts his partner, you will face the wrath of me, Katherine Hare. You are all invited to visit us anytime, but hopefully you will join us for Christmas. You all have lots of time to start planning.”
