"Here is the blade you asked for." Jaris offered the gift wrapped in leather. He kept his head down in respect. He was on his hearth. The heat inside was high. By the appearance, Jaris hadn't slept all night. He was exhausted. "I hope I won't be disappointed," Nakhapadman whispered as he unwrapped the gift. Inside he saw a wooden scabbard. It was ordinary and unimpressive. From the scabbard, he unsheathed a sword. The sight of the blade itself made Nakhapadman gasp. The metal was pale yellow on the sides and black as darkness in the middle, forged to perfection. He noticed some symbols carved onto the blackened surface of the blade.
