Be-Ho-Mi looked at the fair-skinned hemeus. She had no mane but long black hair and no fur on her body. A different creature from Zolopts, but an intelligent one. The first folk who crossed the Dark Mountains saw the soil of the hemeus. There were no bloodwood trees. There was bright light and fresh air. Small plants and bushes covered the soil. There were big trees but they never bled. It was a new world beyond the Dark Mountains. The folks living there had no fur on their bodies. They had no mane. They wore animal skin and some other things, and they covered their whole bodies. They had different types of weapons. Be-Ho-Mi wished to see those sands. The Zolopts called them green sands. “I am happy to see you Be-Ho-Mi.” The hemeus said. “It’s good to be back, Anusee.” Be-Ho-Mi smiled.
