Chapter 10: Danny
Days stretched into weeks, and after three months the word “boyfriend” surfaced again, this time with little controversy. While s*x amidst the basement mirrors remained a popular pastime—once they’d hung a curtain across the one right at the bottom of the stairs—Danny and Ashok spent more of their alone time at Danny’s house, where they could lounge by the pool or make s’mores in the chiminea without an audience.
Happy go-lucky was pretty much Danny’s default setting, but his time spent next to Ashok was splashed with an especially rosy tint. Ashok was gorgeous, for one thing, and while this was not the most important of his delightful qualities, nor did it detract from them.
