Chapter 38
James and I prepared for our flight to Rome the next morning, we packed our bags the evening earlier and prepared everything we needed to do. James had to run a few errands before leaving as this was a very long trip. On the other hand, I had to inform the nurses and babysitters about it.
I held Dean on my arms and close to my chest. It seemed like he didn’t even a age a bit, he looked exactly the same as he was when I held him for the first time — except for much cuter.
The nurses were lined behind me as I held my baby for the last time in this whole week. I placed him down on the crib gently and kissed his forehead before returning back to the nurses and the women who were going to take care of my son.
