The Finale
The week-long vacation soon came to an end. Paris was beautiful and breath-taking. The views, the castle, the beaches, the resorts and the air itself was able to put peace in my mind. An aura of sadness lingered around me as I stepped out of the airplane and into London. I was home again but it didn’t feel like home. The last time I traveled was with my mother and we both were excited to crash back into our beds once the vacation was over but this time, she was gone and I only had James by my side. James had been supportive throughout the entire trip. We didn’t fight again.
