The loud sound of slap and sting on his right cheek was a clear indication for him that his mate had slapped him. He left her hand in shock not because the slap was too hard; she can't hurt him with her tiny weak hands even if she wants to.
“You slapped me!” it was a statement not a question
“Yes I did! After whatever you did you deserve more than just a slap. The first night we spent together was a mistake from both sides but today was not. I was unconscious but you were not!
