(Helena's POV)
It's already 12:01 am on the clock. I smiled bitterly.
"Happy Birthday to me... Happy Birthday to me..." I sang as I sat on my bed. Today is my 18th birthday but I can't even get out of this boring place. It's been two weeks since Michael escaped from the prison and the police haven't found him ever since.
My phone rang and I reached for it. An unregistered number flashed on the screen and I frowned as I answered the call.
"Hello? Who is this?"
"Helena..." A hoarse voice said.
"W-who are you?"
"I'm coming for you, my love." My eyes widened and I dropped my phone on the carpeted floor as the call ended. I stared at it for a few minutes. Then, the screen lot up as a message was received. Can that be Michael?
I picked it up and read the message with dread.
