Scarlett laughed at Ryke’s question. He pinched her nose and she grabbed his hand to hold it over her lap. They were sitting on the carpet, in front of a cosy chimney fire.
Scarlett was still not over the fact that there was a chimney in this cute cottage. Now that winter was approaching rapidly, she imagined all the great moments she could share with Ryke in this big living-room, sitting in front of the fire.
