Episode 6:what secret?

Lady Josephine, I want to ask you a question and I want an honest answe ,,, since you're lord Garius's daughter, you should know where his best friend's families are, tell me where they are and I will reward you handsomely"the king asked curiously.

And for a second, Josephine heart skipped, wondering why the king was asking about her family, or has he planned to kill them as he killed her father?...

"Ermm, I don't,,,,," and the king cut her off.

"I want the truth only" he snapped angrily, which made Josephine staggered, trying to hold her stand,,,,,,,,

King Alex looked at Josephine with so much concentration,trying to understand why would she get shocked on his mere question, wondering if there's much to it and Josephine reaction towards the king's question proved there's really more to it.

"My,,, king,,,I,,,,,, I,,," she nervously stammered.

"It's fine, you can go" he cut her off, looking at her walking suspiciously as she hurriedly left,and immediately,the king also left to the queen chamber.

QUEEN MONTANA'S CHAMBER.

Queen Montana has not been able to get over her lost child, logically analysing how she got to lost the child,,

"Your highness,lady Josephine is here" the queen announcer announced,the queen furiously stood up wondering who released Josephine without informing her and absolutely nobody can even tip her off.

"My queen,how are you feeling,I have to rush down here immediately I was released from the cell".

And for a second, everywhere turned blank, as Josephine received a resounding slap from the queen unexpectedly.

"My queen"she gasped loudly, looking shocked,holding her cheeks that turned to red immediately, glaring at the queen,as she stepped forward, fearlessly standing on her toes, resulted to the queen trying to slap her again but Josephine was quick to hold her hand this time,and the queen gasped shockingly.

"And what do you think you're doing?,you murderer! She yelled, bulging her eyes.

"And who are you to call me a murderer!she yelled back looking furiously .

"See,have had enough of all this false accusations,and why would I try to kill your child when I can easily get pregnant without stressing myself like y'all?,I don't even have any business with the palace affairs,I'm just here for a purpose,your highness!!don't provoke me,I'm not here for you!!!" She yelled,still holding the queen's hand.

The queen could not believe her eyes neither her ears,"did lady Josephine just talked to her like this?"she wondered curiously.

"Now leave my hand this instant! She commanded nervously.

"Look for who to blame for your loss elsewhere,your highness!she angrily hijacked the queen's hand leaving the queen looking stunned.

As Josephine angrily emerged from the chamber,she met the king and his personal guard looking shocked as if they just witnessed a death scene..she did not even spare the king a glance as she left.

Different thought clouded the Kings mind, because he literally heard every single words of her,,but one thing that was ringing inside the king's mind was nothing than that her statement "I'm just here for a purpose" and the question he's finding hard to understand was,"if she's here for a purpose and what could that purpose be!".

Silas on his own end keep worrying on how she left looking so angry, " would she be fine"he thought inwardly.

LADY LARISA CHAMBER.

"All you have to do is to find them wherever they are,I will discuss his family reinstatement with the king,it's been two years already...I should atleast compensate lord Zenya's family,I still owe that man,if not him,I wouldn't be in the palace now!"she commanded her watchman that dressed in all black from head to toes, covering his face with a dark tiger customize mask looking dangerous,and he left immediately.

The watchman bumped into Larisa as he hurriedly flew over the fence,fear gripped Josephine wondering who it was as she hurriedly left to lady Larisa chamber.

"My lady,lady Josephine is here" lady Larisa's announcer announced.

"So fast,I knew she'll be release ,is she here to show her gratitude?she will eventually bend to me,I knew it"she thought inwardly, smiling sheepishly.

"Enter! She commanded happily,,

"My lady" she bowed slightly looking straight into lady Larisa's eyes trying to read her mind to know if she was the one that did killed the queen's pregnancy.

"I'm here to pay my respect immediately I was released from the cell,my lady" she said

Lady Larisa scoffed on hearing this,

"and you want me to believe that!it's fine! She snapped.

Josephine turned back to take her leave as she already found the answer she was looking for,even though she wasn't sure yet.

"Is that all?" Are you sure that is all,well..I need a favour from you,you can atleast return the favour I did for you by telling me where the minister of finance's families are,thats all I want in return!"she said desperately.

"Why is everybody interested in her family!why now!!since all this time and it is now they're asking about her family!"she thought inwardly.

"My lady,I have no idea of where they are"she bowed.

You're your father's daughter indeed,bird of the same feather,what was I expecting ,I understand,since it's the same blood that is running in you and Lord Garius's vein,,now it is clear...this clearly shows there's something fishy about your family,lady Larisa?she asked tauntingly.

"I have no idea of what you're talking about my lady,if you will excuse me!she snapped.

Lady Larisa smiled knowingly." Don't even worry about yourself,I will definitely find them and bring them into this palace!,You can excuse yourself my lady" she said as Josephine immediately emerged from the chamber leaving lady Larisa thinking about so many possibilities.

LORD GARIUS'S RESIDENCY

It is the official residence of the Minister of justice,stood a giant rose tree, filled with so many servants working in their various assigned post,

A middle aged woman sat down playing a chess with a young man looking so cute.

"Madam Camina, do you think Josephine is fine in the palace, I'm worried about her,, I can't even get to sleep at night" Jerome asked Josephine's mother.

Jerome was feeling impatient to go the Palace, he really can't figure out why Josephine would wanted to go into the palace without even discussing anything with him, with the fact that they have been friends since childhood, their friendship was as deep as their parents friendship, more reason why he was so scared of loosing Josephine just like the way she lost her father to the king according to what his father, Lord Garius told him, about the unexpected incident that happened two years ago, even though he still never understand the reason why his father would marry his best friend's wife after his demise, nevertheless, as long as he keep seeing Josephine in their house, any other things doesn't matter to him anymore.

"She should be fine,she's not a kid,my son" she smile.

"But madam,you feel too relax that I'm getting to think you don't care about Josephine,I'm sorry to say"he bowed apologetically.

"Why should I worry when your father will handle everything,put your mind at rest,okay? nothing will happen to her!" She assured him.

Lord Garius appeared,clearing his throat as he approach them.

"Welcome father!" Jerome greeted his father and excused himself leaving them alone

"Welcome,my Lord" she bowed slightly looking forward to what Lord Garius was going to say.

"My Lady,follow me!" He commanded.

They both entered lord Garius chamber,lord Garius sat down while madam Camina asked the question she has been keeping inside all day without sitting down ...

"My Lord,what are you going to do about this!the king must not find out,,we needs to act fast because that lady Larisa must be up to something,and if that should get to the king,I'm very sure the king would do anything to find us out!" She whispered scarily.

"Don't worry yourself,lady Larisa does not have anything under her sleeve,I'm very sure of that,just relax"

" If you say so, anyway,how is my daughter "she asked.

"Like you care,your daughter is really tempting my patients,have given her the last warning if not,you know what I can do!"

" Just make sure our secret is safe, that's all I know....

Secret? What secret? Something is about to go down!!!
