Mr. Aizawa! A Test on the First Day?!

"Also, were you recommended? I didn't see you at the entrance exam." I looked at him confused. There was an entrance exam?

  "I guess I was, I don't remember going to any entrance exam." I said.

  "Oh. Well, what's your quirk?" Woah, someone's interested in my quirk? I didn't think that would happen.

  "Oh, it's...uh...it's called "Overdrive". If I remember right, it enhances my strength and speed by a lot!" I said. In the span of me talking to him, he somehow pulled out a notebook and wrote everything I said down. This kid really is odd, but he's really nice. I like him a lot, I think we'll be great friends!

  We got to the classroom, and everyone was already sitting down. That one blonde kid was sitting in the corner with his feet on the desk, and some other guy was yelling at him. The blonde kid looked over at Izuku and leered at him.

  "Oh great, the damn nerd has arrived." He said quietly.

  Geez, that kid must not like Izuku, maybe they hate each other? Izuku didn't say anything, he just stood there. I guess I should just mind my own business. I sat down next to this girl and some guy with a scar around his left eye. I didn't say anything, I wasn't really comfortable yet. We waited for the teacher, maybe it would be All Might? He did say that he would "see me soon" after my dad told him I was recommended to U.A.

  The teacher walked in, and it was totally who I wasn't expecting. Everyone looked shocked and confused.

  "Everyone sit down and be quiet. I'm your teacher, Mr. Aizawa." The guy looked miserable, almost as if he hasn't slept in weeks! "Let me take roll to see if everyone is here. When I call your name, raise your hand and keep it raised." He said. "Yuga Aoyama, Mina Ashido, Tsuyu Asui, Tenya Iida, Ochaco Uraraka, Mashirao Ojiro, Denki Kaminari, Ejiro Kirishima, Koji Koda, Rikido Sato, Mezo Shoji, Kyoka Jiro, Hanta Sero, Alyx Leonidus, Fumikage Tokoyami, Shoto Todoroki, Katsuki Bakugo, Toru Hagakure, Izuku Midoriya, Minoru Mineta, and Momo Yaoyorozu." This was class 1A, huh? Wait, did he say "Momo?" We all put our hands down and waited for what do to next. "Alright everyone, get ready for a test." Mr. Aizawa said.

  "A TEST!?" We all said. A test on the first day already?! This is crazy!  I thought that the first day of school was supposed to be easy!

  "During this test, your quirk's power will be tested. If any of you don't succeed at this, you'll be removed from the course." He said. Removed from this course?! This guy's insane! It's the first day and he's already going to remove some of us from the course?! What the hell! I could tell that some of us were dreading the test, just by the look on some of their faces.

  We put on these uniforms, which were honestly quite comfortable. They kind of looked like the U.A. logo. We all were led outside; the test was to throw a ball as far as we could. The ball would track how many meters we could throw it.

  "Any volunteers? If not, I'll go down the list." Mr. Aizawa said.

  I slowly raised my hand and Mr. Aizawa looked at me. "

  Ah, Mr. Leonidus, let's see what you can do." Mr. Aizawa gave me the ball; everyone was looking at me.

  "Just breathe, don't pressure yourself." I thought to myself.

  I took deep breaths in as I held the ball to my face. "Everything alright, Alyx?" Mr. Aizawa said.

  "Yeah...I just need to think." I said.

  That Bakugo kid yelled, "Come on! I don't got all damn day!" I looked over at him, and he glared back at me. Geez, talk about intimidating! I quickly looked forward, and focused on channeling my quirk.

  I said in my mind, "Overdrive Base Mode!" That same feeling and aura appeared around my legs and arms, I threw the ball as hard as I could. Dust and smoke surrounded me once I threw the ball. Mr. Aizawa looked at a device.

  "899 meters." Mr. Aizawa said. I looked back at Izuku and smiled. I actually did it! I'm pretty sure I passed!

  "Nice job, man!" Said Kirishima.

  I nodded, and I looked over at that Yaoyorozu girl, I don't think she noticed that I was looking at her. But when she did, she quickly looked away and her cheeks turned a bit red. Huh, I wonder what that was all about?

  Bakugo pushed me aside and said, "Let me show you losers how it's really done!" He took the ball from Aizawa and immediately threw it.

  He must have an explosion quirk of some kind because a loud boom came from his hands when he threw the ball.

  "909 meters." Mr. Aizawa said.

  "Incredible..." I said to myself. This kid threw that ball that far? We went through the list, and everyone had pretty impressive scores, especially this girl Uraraka! She somehow got infinity using her quirk! Izuku's quirk was like that All Might guy's quirk, a strong gust of wind just from one finger! Everyone else did pretty well too!

  "Alright, you all pass." Mr. Aizawa said.

  "Wait, but some of us had garbage scores!" I heard Mineta say.

  "I know, I just wanted you to feel pressured to do your best, that's all." Mr. Aizawa responded back with a smirk on his face. Are you kidding me? First, he says he gonna fail some of us, then he doesn't! I guess I can't really say much since I'm not a teacher, but still, what the hell!

After we got done with the test, Mr. Aizawa dismissed us from class, and I was walking alone until Kirishima ran up to me.

  "Hey man! That was incredible! You threw that ball like it was nothing! My name's Kirishima, by the way!" He said.

  "Thanks, my name is Alyx! Nice to meet you!" I said.

  "Say, what exactly is your quirk?" Kirishima asked.

  "Oh, it's called Overdrive. I can enhance my strength and speed with it. I used to be able to go into more advanced things but..." I stopped, should I tell him? Nobody knows besides my parents and Annie.

I don't even know if I should tell Kirishima. We just met, after all.

  "But what? Did you get it taken away or something?" He asked.

  "Well, not quite," I said, "I lost my memory entirely... I only remember waking up a few weeks ago to fly over to here, that's it." He could tell I wasn't kidding, he looked concerned.

  "Oh man, that's not good. But hey, I'm sure you'll be able to remember how to use your quirk!" He said. Wow, he honestly is a pretty amazing person. He's almost as charismatic as All Might.

  "Thanks, Kirishima. I needed to hear that." I said.

  "No problem, bro!" We parted ways as I headed home. A few minutes later, I ran into that Yaoyorozu girl.

  She looked extremely familiar, I just had to talk to her.

  "Hey, Momo! Wait up!" I yelled. She stopped and looked back.

  "Hey, I've been meaning to ask you something." I said.

  "O-Oh...What is it?" She said.

  "You look really familiar. Like, I feel like I know you or I've seen you somewhere." Momo laughed. I was kind of confused, what was so funny?

  "Alyx, you don't remember? You saved my life from that weirdo and his robot!" She replied.

  Wait, that was her?! She looks totally different! Maybe it's because her hair was down when I first saw her?

  "Oh yeah, I guess I forgot! You look totally different, I guess I didn't notice since you have your hair like that!" We both laughed as we walked together.

  "You live down this street as well, how come I've never seen you?" Momo asked me.

  "Oh, well, I just moved her from America! I've been here for about a month now." I told her.

She nodded her head, "I see. For an American, your Japanese is pretty good. I'm impressed." She said. What should I even tell her?

  "Well... I guess it's one of the things that stuck with me." I said to her as I shifted my bag a bit.

  She looked at me confused, "What do you mean? Did something happen?" Momo asked me.

  I looked down at the ground, feeling a bit flustered, "W-Well... I... I guess I lost my memory..." I told her. She stopped walking, and grabbed my arm. I turned around and faced her, she immediately let go of my arm.

  "I-I'm sorry... I don't know what-" She stuttered.

  I quickly said, "It's okay. I guess I was rattling off a bit." I said.

"Well, see you tomorrow, Alyx." Momo said.

  "Yeah! See you tomorrow!" I replied. We went different ways. Oh man, that was kind of awkward. I wasn't paying attention since I was too deep in thought, and I ran into someone.

  "S-Sorry! I guess I need to start looking more instead of thinking-" I stopped as I got a quick glance of his face, was that... Kariya?

  The man quickly turned around, "It's fine. Just please be more careful." He said and walked away. I could've sworn that man looked exactly like Kariya! I kept walking home; I still couldn't get that image out of my head.

  When I got home, I noticed a note on the refrigerator.

  It read, "Your father and I will be out for a while. Annie's already made dinner for you. We won't be home until around 10 and Annie won't be home until 8. We love you! Stay safe! -Mom."

  I put the note down and opened the fridge. I pulled the obviously bought sushi out of the fridge, "Yeah, nice cooking, sis." I said to myself sarcastically. I laid down on my couch and started to eat, then I heard a tap on a window from the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen and there was a package out on our patio. I noticed that it was addressed to me.

  "Huh? I don't remember ordering anything." I said as I opened up the package. There was just a note on the inside that said, "I know."

  "What in the hell?" I said to myself.

  Then, I felt a presence behind me, I quickly turned around but nobody was there. I walked back inside and quickly shut & locked the patio door. I activated my quirk, and sat there in silence.

  I heard a thud coming from downstairs, I jumped over the railing and into the living room.

  "Alright, who's-" I stopped, there wasn't anyone there.

  Was I just being paranoid? Wait, didn't Kirishima give me his number today? I pulled out my phone and thankfully I was right!

  "Yo! What's up?" Kirishima said.

  "Hey, listen. I think someone's in my house." I quietly said.

  "What? Can't you use your quirk to rough 'em up? I saw what you did today! There's no way anyone could beat you up, man!" Kirishima confidently said. That was the thing, I wasn't too sure how powerful it was. Annie told me that this Mode was a beginner stage, so what good would it be against some villain?

  "Well, yeah... But I'm not sure about it. Could you just-" Right before I could say anything else, someone pounced on my back!

  I grabbed their shoulders and threw them away from me.

  "Alright, asshole! Let's dance!" I shouted.

  I heard Kirishima say my name, but I dropped my phone, so I couldn't exactly tell him what was going on. I ran towards the masked assailant, reeling back my fist. She sent me flying out of my living room window and outside into my front yard. I rolled on the ground and rebounded as she tried to stab me with a knife! I kicked the knife out of her hands, I jumped back from her, trying to reevaluate the situation. She's quick on her feet, that's for sure, she's definitely done this before. Her eyes were a bright yellow, they looked familiar! Now that I'm sizing her up, she looked an awful lot like Himiko!

  "I know that's you, Himiko! What in the hell are you doing?" She didn't respond to me at all. It was almost as if she was a completely different person. She took of her mask, and I was right! Himiko was smiling a sinister grin, it wasn't like the person I met a month ago!

  "I just reeeeaaallly want some of that blood, you're so cute!" She exclaimed giddily. Holy s**t, Himiko's nuts!

  "You're f*****g crazy if you think you're taking my blood!" I yelled to her.

  "Hey! What's going on?" I heard Kirishima yell. I turned back and saw him running down the street, how'd he know where I live?!

  "K-Kirishima!" I excitedly said.

  "Shit..." I heard Himiko mutter. Kirishima stood next to me and activated his quirk.

  "So, what now? You still wanna try and take my blood?" I said with a smirk. She looked frustrated and she threw her knife at me! I dodged it and Kirishima charged after her. Himiko jumped over Kirishima and ran down the street.

  "Hey! Come back here!" Kirishima yelled out.

  "Let her go, I don't think she'll be back anytime soon." I told him.

  "Are you alright? I came as quick as I could." Kirishima said.

  "Yeah, I'm alright. How'd you know where I lived?" I asked him.

  "Oh, I think when you dropped your phone, you might've sent me your location! Plus, we live on the same street, so it didn't take me long to find you." He told me.

  I thanked Kirishima for helping me and he went home. I went back inside and cleaned up what I could. I'm not sure if I could repair the window in time with my quirk, Annie still hasn't taught me how to do that healing technique. Apparently, it can also reconstruct destroyed surfaces? I crashed on the couch downstairs and watched T.V. I decided to call my parents to tell them what happened, "Hey, mom!" I said.

  "Oh, hello dear! Do you need something?" She asked me.

  "Yeah... The living room window is kind of broken..." I nervously said.

  "What?! What happened?" She shouted.

  "I'll tell you when you guys get home. And it wasn't me, I promise!" I reassured my mother.

  After a while, I heard a knock on the front door. I opened it up and it was Annie!

  "Holy s**t! What happened?" She exclaimed. I didn't even realize that I had small cuts on my arms and face.

  "Well... Someone got into the house and I kind of fought them off." I told her. Annie used that healing technique on me to heal those small cuts. Then, I showed her the window in the living room and she reconstructed it. It looked as good as new!

  "Did you get a good look at who it was?" Annie asked me.

  "Yeah, she's got blonde hair and yellow or gold eyes. Her name's "Himiko" and I'm not sure what her last name is." I told Annie everything I knew about Himiko.

  She nodded her head, "Alright, I'll keep that in mind. If I find her during my patrols, I'll give her a piece of my mind." Annie sternly said.
