CHAPTER FOUR: CONSPIRACY

I go downstairs to the party and once again Tasha is no where to be found. I called a cab and went back home, I manage to get to my room and fall on my bed, couldn't even wait to take off my clothes off before I'm fast asleep.

I wake up to the sound of pans hitting against each other, close to my ears, I groan and I open my eyes to see Tasha in front of my face smiling weirdly with the pans in her hands and I feel a bit scared, I trust Tasha to pull up the most shittiest ideas, I ignore her and turn to my side and something caught my eyes. The time on my alarm clock reading 9 am.

"F*ck" I cuss out loud as I literally jump out of the bed. I am so f*cking late for work and it's definitely coming out of my pay check. I know it seems like I'm always late but trust me it actually is, no matter how hard I try, the days I'm late are more than the days I'm early and it feels like a curse.

I freshen up as quickly as possible, dab a little lipstick and lip liner, brush my eyebrows, wear my clothes and rush downstairs where I see Tasha seated, sipping a cup of coffee.

"So that's all it takes for you to be early, huh?" She

says after a long sip of her coffee

Now what's this b***h talking about and then it hits me, Tasha is the queen of pranks, don't tell me she....... My thoughts are interrupted when she says

"All I had to do was make your alarm 5 hours faster and then viola, my b***h is an early bird" she says with a smirk

"Oh no you didn't, you f*cking b***h, how could you?" I say as I march up to her

"I did it for your own good darling, and to make it better, I made your favorite breakfast, bacon and cheese with milk, she smiles and it's official, my b***h is an asshole, how old does she think I am, 7?

"It was my favorite when I was 7, you psycho, and by the way thanks but no thanks" I say as I walk out leaving Tasha to yell how ungrateful I am behind me.

I get to the office early and surprisingly the Demon is not in the office.

Well rumors has it the he literally lives and sleeps in the office that's also why PA Wang is the only person who has seen him.

Actually I don't really care about these rumors but they are intriguing and besides I'm on the gist hub group, all the rumors land there, including the one about me sleeping around to get to the position I am in right now, I wonder if they knew I was on the group when they talked about it, acting like their sources are genuine and legit.

I decide to use the time to get breakfast down at the Starbucks shop across the road, I enter and immediately spot PA Wang having a discussion with someone and it seems suspicious. I get close to them avoiding PA Wang from seeing me. I hear them discussing a plan to eliminate someone and I immediately turn on the recording function on my phone.

"We don't have anymore time" the blue eyed stranger harshly whispered to PA Wang. 'Time for what?'

"I know, I've been secretly controlling his movement and it's safe to say he's merely my puppet, all that's left is to eliminate him permanently. We'll stage an accident so no one will be able to suspect anything" PA Wang says with a vicious smirk

'OMG!!, They're planning on killing someone. But who could it be?' I've never been the one to be a hero but this is someone's life and with this recording in my hands, the police could stop them before the perpetrate the act.

"Get ready Aaron Black, you'll never know what hit you" the blue eyed stranger says with a smirk as they both get up to leave, I immediately hide my face and pretend to be tying my shoes.

They're planning on killing Aaron Black, Jason, my boss' father!!. This all seems too much to take, I have to tell this to Jason

I get to work just to see Anita, my ex superior snooping through my stuffs

"What the do you think you're doing?" I ask scaring the s**t out of her and I wonder why she was in my office

"Uhmm.....hi Kimberly, I just.....uhmm.....I was just........ never mind" she says and runs out of my office. That was weird, I mean I've never seen Anita stumble over her words like that.

She's always overconfident, mean and annoying as hell. I go through my stuffs to see if anything is missing and something caught my eyes beneath my desk, I never knew I had this or maybe Anita left this as she ran away. What was she planning to do with this, I plug in the purple hard drive into my laptop and what I saw left me speechless.

The hard drive contained information on all the members of the Black's family, I wonder how she was able to get this information because the Black's family is cyber protected and it seems like Anita is joining forces with PA Wang to take over the entire Black's enterprise. I copy the files into my laptop and stroll down to Anita's office.

"Here, to dropped this whole you were in my office, I'm guessing it's very important if not you won't be carrying it around" I say as I gave her the hard drive

"Thanks Kimberly, but did you.....uhmm.....look at what's inside?" She asks in a timid voice

"Heck no, I don't want to be accused of stealing the account department confidential information" I say as I give her a pointed look as it's definitely something she can do.

"Anyways Anita, see ya around" I say as I turn to leave

I leave her office back to mine just in time to hear the demon CEO call me from the intercom by my desk. I immediately report to his office to save myself from his wrath.

"Come in" he says before I could even knock, I guess he heard my hurried footsteps 'cause I literally ran to his office. As I said before, I'm scared of my boss. And he gives me the chills, like actually freak me out

"Kimberly Stone, can you explain why this is located on this file, also can you explain why I'm getting this information now?" He asks me and he face shows that he's freaking mad
