Aya's Point of View

My name is Aya. I have been enslaved to the Moonlight since I was very little. Raya is the only reason why I haven't died in the place. I honestly do know how much longer we will be able to stay alive here. I have heard that the Alpha King is coming to tour the surrounding areas. We have to get out of here soon. It is 2am and Raya and I are just now getting to our cell for a little rest before we have to up cooking breakfast for the pack. As Raya and I settle down huddle together we hear multiple footsteps. We already know who it is. Alpha Landon followed by Luna Lori, Lark, Beta Byron, Trya, Brandon who is next in line Alpha and Lacey his supposed mate. I say supposed mate because I overheard Lark, Tyra, and Lacey talking one day. They have a friend that is a witch and this witch made Lacey some very powerful supplements that make any wolf more prone to believing what is a lie. There are physical changes that one's body goes through when there lying.

When this supplement it dulls that ability down. Lacey has been using this method to make Brandon believe she is his mate. They all know about this except for Brandon. The downside is Lacey is always glued to his side, because the mate bind is strong and it will override the power of the supplement. Lacey tends to keep most females away from him. Lacey knows she is in a world of trouble if it comes out that she has been feeding him supplement to trick his wolf into believing that she is his mate, so will the witch I imagine. Alpha Landon looks at us " The royal family will be visiting us tomorrow. You two will make sure the pack house is clean from top to bottom and you will cook a wonderful lunch for them. You will be done with all of that and out of sight by lunch time. Do I make myself clear?"

I answer "Yes Alpha Phillips." Lark laughs so does Tyra. "You should be congraulating us. Tomorrow I will be found to be the next in line Luna Queen and Tyra will be the next in line Royal Beta Female. Is that right daddy?" "Yes sweetheart you will be a wonderful Luna Queen and Tyra will make a wonderful Royal Beta female." Lark looks at us saying "It is ashame that the moon goddess didnt deem you to worthy of getting a wolf." Alpha Landon nods in agreement "You two are too weak to have gotten wolves. You better heed my orders." "Yes Alpha." With that they all walk away. Luna Lori stops and looks back at us with guilt and huet in her eyes. Raya turns not caring about all the emotions in Luna's eyes. She mindlinks me "It is for to late for her to feel any kind of guilt for what her mate, kids and pack have done to us." "You are her child." "I am not her child. She may have given birth to me but she has never been my mother." All I could do was hug my sister as we tried to get a little rest.

We only had a few hours until we had to be back up and to work getting ready for more work. We divided and conquered the house work before we started cooking. As we were putting the finishing touches on the desserts Lark walks into the kitchen "I thought daddy told you two to stay out of sight once you were done with making lunch." I reply "We are almost done. We were just putting the finishing touches on the desserts." "How dare you talk back to me." Lark raises her hand to slap me I close my eyes waiting for the impact. I didnt feel the impact but i heard the slap. I open my eyes to see Raya standing in front of me. Rage is swimming in Larks eyes. Her eyes glaze over. She is mindlinking her father the Alpha "Daddy these to wolfless bitches are still in the main house and they have the nerve to be very disrespectful." "Raya and Aya get your asses back down to your cells now. Byron will be down there soon for your punishment." Raya grabs my hand as we walk to our cell. I mindlink Raya " I will take this one." "No you wont you took the last beating." "Raya dont argue with me. You have taken more beating lately." We made it to our cell, we didnt have to wait long for Beta Byron.

He calmly walks into our cell with a smile on his face and a happy glint in his eyes. Beta Byron loved beating us. He got some kind of sick satisfaction from beating us. Byron lifts his hand with the whip in it as I turn shielding Raya with my body. Raya pushes me out of the way as the whip strikes her back leaving a deep gash in her back. She hits the floor grunting in pain. Byron comes down with the whip again. I scream please stop as I jump on his back. He easily throws me from his back into the steel bars. I hear and feel something break as I taste blood.I struggle to get back on my feet. Raya has passed out and is bleeding very badly. I start limping towards Beta Byron pleading as his eyes gloss over and he rushes out. I made my way over to my sister gathering anything I could to stop bleeding. Tears streaming down my face. "Please moon Goddess please dont take her from me she is all I have. Please we cant live like this much longer. Please dont take her."
