I’m changing Jocelyn’s diaper in the nursery, as my phone rings and I find that my sister Lisa is calling me. I tap the screen to place her on speaker phone as I answer.
“Hey sis, what’s up?” I greet.
“Talia is driving me to the brink of insanity.” She immediately responds.
“Well, I can’t really say that I blame her, rejection is horribly painful and she has to live with your broken mate every day.” I reply as I fasten the diaper and lift Jocelyn in my arms, while Trystan runs circles around me as I step towards the diaper pail, careful not to trip over him.
