Tonight’s dinner is a formal event, followed by the opportunity for dancing and drinking for all mature packmembers. We have also arranged for a Pup Party to take place in the community center (a large separate building, adjacent to the packhouse, that I discovered had gone unused for several years.) Volunteers have agreed to provide chaperone coverage under the watchful eye of Derrick and Kelli during their dinner and dance, catered by the packhouse kitchen omegas with a non-alcoholic version of the feast and beverages of the elder members.
