Matt twisted his hat in his hands as he looked at the three men sitting and standing in the room with him. Sometimes he really, really hated his job, and right now was one of those times.
He had driven out to the ranch to let them know that Lily’s body had been misplaced. The ambulance had delivered her body to the hospital, and she had been transferred to the morgue. But when Doc Harley went down to confirm the death and make a ruling as to how she had died, her body was nowhere to be found.
