“My friends and I are going to the Knight Club to just unwind, I want you to come with” Marvin said over the phone.
Even though I knew that he could not see me, it still did not stop the surprised look that covered my face “Marvin, going to a club on a Saturday night? Who are you and what have you done to my friend?”
He groaned “shut up Kennedie it is just, whatever” he said but I knew that if I could see him right now, he would be as red as an overripe tomato.
Sometimes, Marvin could be extremely cute.
“Alright I will be there, but your friends are you sure they won’t be uncomfortable with you having someone else over?”
“Trust me they won’t. I want you there Kennedie”
“What time?”
“We’ll meet there at eight o clock or I can pick you up if you want”
