The sky was still dim when I found myself standing by the window, simply checking the outside surroundings.
It was too early for the sun to rise, yet too late for the moon to show itself. The sky was still dim, but the sun was probably about to shine in an hour or two. The city was far from asleep, but it was quieter during this time.
It was peaceful… Almost.
I could already feel the pull of the moon. The full moon had started its cycle yesterday, and tonight would be its peak. Even without seeing it in the sky, I felt it tugging at something deep inside me. Nel stirred restlessly beneath my skin, pacing round and round.
