“Are you ready?” Jason asked, looking at his watch for the 50th time in the last 10 minutes.
“Mandy will take us over shortly,” I said, looking at my watch again. It reads 9.59pm. Knowing Mandy, she will send us over the moment it ticks over to 10 o’clock.
“It’s the waiting that’s the…” “issue” Jason said as he looked around, and I chuckled under my breath.
“Imagine you are telling Simon how you thought he forgot to feed me and all Claudia hears is ‘got to feed me’” I murmured and we both doubled over in laughter.
“Mandy, where’s Tracey and Claudia?” Jason asked Amanda as she rubbed up against my leg with her neck.
