Danny’s POV
When I decided to barricade myself, I wasn’t expecting to have a bright light flash in front of my eyes and appear somewhere else. I looked around Amanda’s sanctuary hoping to see Claudia and my face fell, when I didn’t. “Claudia isn’t here” Amanda called out from the edge of the sanctuary.
“Amanda” I breathed as the pure white wolf bounced over to me, licking my face. “What am I doing here? Is Claudia OK?” I asked, my heart beating faster at the thought of something happening to her and our pup.
“Claudia is fine. You, on the other hand, are not” she answered, putting her head on my lap.
