After checking himself for injury, he gingerly made his way to the door, taking care not to step on any of the broken equipment. It was bad enough that he'd blown up the lab; he didn't fancy adding receiving a serious injury to the list of stupid things that he'd done that day, and he was already getting upset at the thought of his grant going towards paying for the damage.
