Chapter Twenty-OneAstria heard the news about the plane crash when her father's sister called from England on Saturday morning. Her parents and crew of the plane had perished the night before in a dreadful storm near the Bavarian Alps near Kufstein, Austria. The Gulfstream IV had either struck the top of a mountain and disintegrated on impact, or disintegrated in the air and then struck the mountain, scattering fiery bits of metal and charred flesh over a fifty kilometer radius. No bodies were left to identify, only dental records, a gold pin, a Delta Theta Phi ring, and DNA.
