Her parents and crew of the plane had perished the night before in a dreadful storm near the Bavarian Alps near Kufstein, Austria. The Gulfstream IV had either struck the top of a mountain and disintegrated on impact, or disintegrated in the air and then struck the mountain, scattering fiery bits of metal and charred flesh over a fifty kilometer radius. No bodies were left to identify, only dental records, a gold pin, a Delta Theta Phi ring, and DNA. Astria dropped to the floor of her expensive Danish apartment and thrashed on the soft white carpet.
