Chapter FourteenThe music of Mozart roared and bellowed from the screen, as it had never done in life, electronically enhanced and butchered, a million babies listening to the fractured notes of Mozart insane, Mozart in 3026; not Bruce Carter's babies, but crushed, bawling, crying infants spilling from the screen. The fractured continuum murdered all tender thought and the children grew old and died before his eyes. Time reversed. The Universe reached maximum entropy.
