Chapter 2-3

It had been not really a fun swim over the river. Whilst it was not deep it had been fast-moving and pretty wide. Basically had taken any more I might have now been swept in to some rapids. Maybe not fun. But I had caused it to be and there clearly was no sign of the guy from regardless of the name of the school was.

Without having that guy follow me throughout the river was good news there is also some bad news. I had to drop my bag in the river. It absolutely was just overweight for me personally. My entire life was more crucial anyways. Still, all my money I had was for the reason that bag too so not merely did I lose my generator I did not have hardly any money either.

All I really could do was move ahead. I had an extended walk down the mountain before me and so i had the required time to think about methods for getting me some food and money. I simply wished I had spent more hours practicing how exactly to catch fish as well as other things. Salis makes sense though, she will consider something ingenious.

I was running for a couple minutes. Getting away from view from the village was all I possibly could do at this time. It had been still quite a distance right down to the nearest city and there clearly was no chance I'd make it happen before nightfall and I was in no hurry therefore i chose to simply take my time. Maybe search for some food, scare any innocent animals I really could find...

I heard somebody yelling in the length. I was not too sure who it absolutely was nonetheless it sounded slightly male and wimpy. Probably was Mr. Recruiter. I was astonished. I thought he'd be scouring the burning wreck that had once been my home for treasure. Still, if that he hadn't crossed the river yet that meant I had a while ahead of the river slowed up and became an easy task to cross.

I made a decision to ignore Mr. Recruiter for the present time. Food was a lot more essential. I was not hungry yet but I did not discover how long it might just take me to locate any.

I chose to begin looking for berries. Momma Eliz would go in to the forest every once in awhile to have some and so i knew what they appeared as if. I recently hoped there weren't some poisonous berries that looked the exact same. I also hoped they were still in season. If indeed they weren't I might take trouble.

So began my search. I came across a bush pretty quickly, nonetheless it was too late. The berries that have been quit were rotten. Since i have was not hungry enough to consume rotten berries I left them alone and started heading downstream. Hopefully, there could be some ripe ones down where it had been just a little warmer. I needed seriously to head this way anyway.
