Pali have been walking down the river buying solution to cross. Luckily, he previously were able to put the fire out quickly. He'd hoped to get some interesting things but all he previously found was a box with some wires inside. In case he'd taken it with him. Maybe that he could ask the little one what it absolutely was for when that he found her.

Up to now the river was still a lot of for him to cross. That he hoped the kid wouldn't get past an acceptable limit in front of him, but she'd almost certainly be going to Stutra. Considering that the city was in the bottom of the mountain and the river generated it had been the absolute most likely place on her behalf to go. That he figured that she knew that he knew this so she may possibly visit a different city, however the next nearest city was pretty a long way away by walking and she probably failed to have sufficient food to obtain her there if she had any to start with.

If Pali did miss her there have been only two cities near Stutra, apart from a couple of tiny villages. They certainly were Soli and Kein. Because the Kein School of Magic and Knowledge was in Kein all he previously to complete was contact the institution and also have some body try to find her for him. If she went along to Soli... That could make things difficult. Soli was on the border close to Toa Mirr. If she escaped from Flaern to there then there will be not a way to locate her since that he cannot cross the border himself.

Pali was also concerned about what Toa Mirr would do to the little one if indeed they caught her. Toa Mirr had not been only exceptionally militaristic and had very bad relations with Flaern, as Flaern had once been an integral part of Toa Mirr sometime ago but had rebelled, nevertheless they treated any outsiders as potential spies and frequently executed them or at the least put them in forced labor camps.

The kid, being truly a Terran, may not get as bad treatment however it wouldn't normally be described as a good life. Pali had heard that any Terran within Toa Mirr was forced in to the military. It was because Terrans not just had stronger magical abilities than the usual Calorin but if indeed they are not deformed poorly they also was slightly stronger.

Pali didn't wish to look at this any further so that he made a decision to focus on finding her on the mountain. That he just had a need to discover a way over the river. Since that he couldn't see one yet that he continued down the mountain.
