There is a THUUM! when i released the latch and the pressure within the cannon blew off leading cover. Plenty of wax and a cabbage flew out from the cannon.
The cabbage it self had partially disintegrated, it being soggy and slimy from sitting outside for some days, and items of it and wax covered the boys nearest in my experience. The core of the cabbage stayed true in its course and exploded on Leader Boy's left shoulder and judging from Dorito's actions a number of it had gotten on him and a few other boys.
I ignored the muffled giggles from the communication stone, turned it off and stuffed it in to my pouch. Then i acquired the cannon and jumped from the tree.
