Dorian and Mikey stood in stunned disbelief as chaos erupted in the company lobby. For Dorian, the morning had already been challenging—Allie was headed to Los Angeles, and his children had given him a hard time while getting ready for school and daycare. Now, as he faced yet another protest within his company, it felt like the hundredth time such trouble had plagued him in the past few years.
Mikey turned to Dorian, his voice urgent. “Dude, the signs are talking about nepotism and hostile work environments.”
Dorian clenched his jaw, struggling to control his anger. The last thing he wanted was for Bandit to show up and risk unnecessary exposure. He quickly realized that the protest was connected to Sarah and Carter.
“This has to do with Sarah and Carter,” Dorian stated.
