Never alone

In the history of sh*tshows, this was definitely the biggest one to go down..

There was blood everywhere, heads, hearts....but there was a far greater event happening. The vampire leader, Monty and Savanya the witch had successfully paralyzed Lexa, Vince, Ovaro and Bella.

LEXA POV

This was definitely a witch and with the way she looked at me, i could tell she knew who or what i was. She was menacing and that guy next to her was worse but he's no witch. 

"Ahhh", Ovaro's pained voice drew me out of my thought...he was fighting to snap out of the spell to save Bella who was loosing too much blood to heal back from. I looked back at Vince and saw his pupil dilated.. he was trying to shift.

I had to do something. Anything! That's when i got an idea...if i could hear a voice in my head warn me about impending danger or lead me to an unknown cabin to discover who i really was. Maybe I could call out to that voice for help....my life and everyone else's seem to depend on this...

"I NEED YOUR HELP". "PLEASE HELP ME". " DID YOU HELP ME SO I COULD ONLY DIE HERE?" i yelled all in my head but no response.

'Let's take her now, they can't do anything to stop us'. H motions to his guards who literally appear from no where. Walking up to Vince, he simply smiles and says 'Don't worry i'll take good care of her'. I see visibly move his hands by an inch, he's breathing so hard, sweating...it's obvious he is seriously trying to break free. Even the witch had started to bleed from her nose.

As the guards held my hands, i looked at Vince, his eyes were already on me...sad, pleading...frustrated. I won't give up hope, i try to call out to the voice in my head, louder and more authoritatively this time. 

The witch and vampire start walking towards me and that's when it happens....it looked like a tear in the air and then it opens wider. A woman with brown hair with hints of burgundy steps out, raises her hands towards my captors. Out of no where, a tree stomp pierces the vampire in the ribs and pegs him at a tree...the witch with him tries to block herself from an attack to no avail, twigs and leaves wrap around her and begin to pull her in opposite direction.

'Release them', she said...HER VOICE! So familiar and she looked at me like she knew me as well.

We were still held in place by the other witch's magic...the leaves and twigs start to pull her in opposite directions even more...she begins to scream.

She looks at myself, Vince, Ovaro and Bella and we can move...

Vince is at my side in an instant, makes sure i am alright before quickly joining Ovaro to lift Bella.

'Who are you?', i ask...

'You know who i am', she says and doesn't even look my way. Walking up to the vampire, she asks him who sent him but he only coughs up blood and laughs. She doesn't flinch but simply walks up to him, places her hands on his forehead and her eyes go white...seeing this the other witch gasped.

It seemed she had come to a realization and started to whimper.

'Lady Stake, I am truly sorry. I didn't know....i was simply rec-'

Suddenly she is torn in half by the twigs.

LADY STAKE?!

I ask again, 'Are you the voice in my head?', this time she smiles....'I'm more than just that, I'm your aunt. Your mother's sister.' She starts to walk towards me whenVince growls, I didn't know when he shifted..he's at my side in an instant. 

'Bella, open your eyes. Bella! She should have shifted by now.... Vince what's happening?!' Ovaro starts to yell..

We all run to Bella's side, Lady Stake walks up to us and says 'she's not going to make it'. 'It's all my fault this happened, she can't die because of me'. I say, with tears welling up in my eyes.

I look at the tall woman looking down at the three of us and then i knew she was hiding something...it was a sixth sense. I had often heard that this was a threat vampires had, they could tell when a person was lying and right now i just knew she wasn't telling us the entire truth..

'You can help us, please help us. If we are truly family like you say we are. Please help us...', I say.

Giving me a look that says 'didn't take you long to pull the family card'...she walks up to Bella, mumble some words that at first i don't understand but later...How do i even know any of this?

'Broken bones, Broken Spirit,

Heal again like you are one with the Moon Spirit.'

Bella's eyes flutter open and we all exhale...'What happened? The house? Ova-'...she faints again.

'Give her some tea made from the leaves that grow at the edge of your cliff, Vince. She should be able to shift at dawn.' Lady Stake said.

With that she walks away and motions for me to follow her... Vince immediately comes to my side but I hold his hands and tells him to go take care of Bella. I knew I had to speak with Lady Stake alone..

'Was my mother still alive? Why did no one come look for me? Why was i left behind like a plague...? 

I had to know for myself and it was now or never.

THE MOONCLIFF CEMENTERY

There stood Aria Mooncliff staring at Damien's grave, tears streaming down her face. She knew the gravity of what she had and knew even more the consequences.

What she didn't know was that her daughter had come close to death and that the vampire king was still alive to tell the tale of how she had betrayed her own family.

The Mooncliff cemetery was close to the edge of the largest cliff on the property and this was where Vince and some guards had come to collect the leaves while also searching for his mother.

Closing her eyes, she heard an angry growl...'You did this, didn't you? Spinning round and coming face to face with her son. She knew there was no point lying..it was time to come clean.

'Leave us.', Vince said to the guards. 

'Why would you risk going to the vampires? Bella nearly died if some witch woman didn't appear from thin air to save her...to save all of us actually.' Disappointment, Pain and Anger resonated strongly and if Aria wasn't his mother, she would have been greatly shaken by his Alpha aura.

'Witch woman? What did she look like?', Aria asked. Her eyes wide with shock and fear.

'Yes, thankfully she's Lexa's au-', Vince didn't get to finish his sentence when his phone rang.

'Bella's better but there's something you need to see.'. Ovaro said.

'I found mother, I'm on my way.' Vince said

'Mother, save all your exp-, but she was gone..

Where did she go?

Calling his guards, he asked them if they had seen his mother and they said she left for the east side of the property.

That's where Lexa and Lady Stake are.
