"Let be friends," he said with an amused smile playing on his lips. Alice stared at him dumbfounded. She can't believe this man. She's trying her best to stay away from him but he's making the matters worst.
"Sir, I don't think it's appropriate for us to be friends"
"And why not?" he moved an inch closer to her again with a few miles left between them.
"Because I work for your family which includes you, and I don't want any problem in my job" her eyes dart towards a laughing Abby back to his face. Something flashed in his eyes.
"So what, is there a rule that says you can't befriend your employer? I've already told you about my intentions. I want to know you, so there's nothing to worry about." Something in his eyes tells her he's telling the truth but her insecurities won't stop her
