I glanced at my watch for the nth time, my eyes going towards the entrance door. We were supposed to meet with Mike by 2:30pm and its almost past 3pm yet, no sign of him. Reth was consciously quite. He might not talk but I know he's also getting impatient.
“Let me try calling him” I suggested reaching for the phone on the counter.
“Let’s wait for him a bit more” Reth uttered and I place the phone back folding my arms across my chest. I pray he arrives on time.
I didn't finish closing off my thought when he walked in. A sigh of relief made it way out of my mouth. Finally.
