“I"LL HELP YOU clean up, Linda,” Lois said and began collecting the empty glasses. Sandy already had a handful of plates, and Ash was rinsing and loading the dishwasher when we came in with the last plates and glasses. I asked if there was any lasagna left. “Nope. Sorry, Fritz. No leftovers. But anyone want more coffee?” “That"s just more dishes for you,” said Lois. “George, I think we should leave these three NICE people, and Ashley, to have a little quiet.” I disagreed. “I think another cup of coffee is a good idea, Lois. We still have a few things to discuss, just us.” We all sat at the kitchen table.
