"So what did you tell your mum?" Beatrice asked as I closed the passenger door of her car and slung the straps of my bag over my shoulders clutching them tightly to myself.
"Well, I told her you paid for my fees," I smiled warmly. as I kicked the small stone on the ground out of my way.
Cars kept converging into the school's park as lots of students huddled around the school's ground.
"And she bought that lie?" Beatrice asked tauntingly as she chuckled slightly adjusting the band of her denim Jean trouser, while I rolled my eyes, she knew it was Lucas who paid the fee in the first place.
"What do you expect me to say? That a guy paid for my fee most especially from my worst enemy," I scoffed as we walked closer to the school building.
