At that moment, Rose's eyes met mine and I almost charged at her. No, it wasn't because of the lie she told, my fate was sealed with that one. It was the mockery in her eyes.
Just like I was waiting on Kane's response, she had been waiting for the moment I'd turn and look at her, so she could flash that conceited smile at me.
