Violet's POV
As I went out of consciousness on the front porch with all that blood and gore and the bodies of the rogues split and cut apart by Silus, I heard him ask that I mark him to save us.
I was the only one in trouble, so what could he have meant by us? I couldn't be sure. I might have been in too much of a frenzy.
But I woke up today completely healthy, my wounds healed, my body in perfect condition but beside me was the man I never thought I would see again. Alpha Kane who had rejected me, turned out to be the wolf who saved me and acted like I was the love of his life.
It was confusing, but I accepted it quickly. What I could not accept was his relapse.
Name calling, like he wasn't the one I lost my virginity to. However now, I understand why. It's the side effect
