Chapter 2 : Childhood lovers

On their way to the bikes they were in a wide area that was filled with people when it's New Year's Eve because they would light up loud and colourful fireworks in the sky *

"oh, Mina do you remember going here when it was New Year's Eve? They would light up colourful fireworks here," Ariana said while looking at the sky

"Yeah we used to go here when we were little oh how you loved the fireworks you would jump around in excitement and stare at the fireworks

"yeah and you would cover your ears and hide behind your mom because you were scared"

*they laugh*

They got to their destination. they rented out bikes that could fit around 4 people

"ok first one to go around that tree three

times wins 3..... 2..... GOO!!!"

"HEY THAT'S NOT FAIR"

"CHEATER!!"

*Everyone was screaming and trying to win*

"You're right Kenny this is chaotic" Ariana whispered to Kendrick *they laughed*

*Timeskip*

"well, that was fun where should we go next?"

"OH LOOK THEY'RE SELLING WAFFLES LET'S GO BUY WAFFLES!!!" Ariana said while pointing to the waffle stand

"ok I guess I'm a bit hungry after pedalling the bike let's go but-"

Ariana sprints out to the waffle stand leaving her classmates behind

"So I assume she likes waffles" Kendrick questions his classmates

"yeah boy she goes crazy when she sees waffles she's obsessed"

*They laugh*

*After buying waffles they decided to go to the mall to play games at the arcade and to watch a horror movie at the cinema*

"Let's go!!"

"Hey, wait where's Ari??" Kendrick said as he looked around

"Ari?"

"Oh I mean Ariana last Friday Ari gave me a nickname it's Kenny so I decided to give her a nickname too"

"Are they together?"

"I think they are"

*All the girls were whispering to each other. They were curious*

"HEY WAIT I'M HERE!" Ariana shouted as she was trying to catch her breath

"DID YOU BUY ANOTHER WAFFLE???*

"That's called obsession"

"Shut up huhu I can't help it its too good!"

*they laugh*

*Timeskip They arrived at the mall*

"so we're should we go first to the arcade? Or the movie theatre?"

'how about the arcade first?"

*Everyone agrees. On their way to the arcade, they saw a*****e that sells plushies*

"LOOKS CUTE PLUSHIES!! LET'S GO THERE" one of Ariana's friends suggested

"Yeah no I'm not going it's too girly"

"Well too bad you coming with me You gonna take pictures of me you're gonna be my photographer" Mina said to one of her classmates

"NO"

*Everyone went inside the store since it was pretty big Everyone got split up except Ariana and Kendrick they stayed together*

"look Kenny look at all these plushies They so cu- OMG MATCHING PENGUIN PLUSHIES I hope I can have a boyfriend I would like for us to have matching plushies," Ariana said while smiling at the plushies

"Well let's hope you find one" Kendrick said while showing his warm smile

"Yeah I hope and by the way can you take a picture of me here using my phone- oh my battery is at 5% shoot I forgot to charge my phone last night" Ariana frowned

"Oh you can use my phone I'll send it to you later"

"oh ok, thanks!"Ariana smiles

*Kendrick took pictures of Ariana* "I could stare at her warm smile for hours"*Kendrick thought* here check it out"

"it looks good thanks, Kenny!!"

"Oh, there you guys are! Let's go to the arcade I'm gonna die here it's so girly" One of their classmates said while frowning

On their way to the arcade, they stumble upon a jewellery store

"Girls!! look at those necklaces displayed there Ariana said while pointing to the jewelry ohh I like that necklace with the stars"

"you like everything with stars"

*They laugh*

*once they arrived at the arcade the boys immediately bought tokens and played games*

"geez they are so hyper"

"except for Kendrick oh and speaking of Kendrick Ariana are you two together??"

"HUH?? NO!? WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT?"

Ariana screamed confused

"well you guys both have a nickname for each other"

"yeah and I saw you two together at the plushie store and Kendrick was taking pictures of you on his phone"

ok, guys that doesn't mean anything his just My friend I only gave him a nickname as a friend and he only used his phone to take pictures of me because my phone battery was at 5% and let me set the record set I. Don't have feelings for him Ariana said while crossing her arms

"Liar!"

"Yeah right"

*They laugh*

"IT IS TRUE" Ariana shouted

" well let's go play games already!"

*They all split up to find games to play*

*As Mina was walking trying to find a game to play she saw a photo booth at the back of the arcade* "Woah is this new we gotta take a photo? Hey guys come here! Mina called her friends

*Everybody went to the photobooth*

" we should all take pictures" Kendrick suggested

" wait Kendrick before you go there would you like to take pics with Ariana? Just the both of you"

" wh-what no he would be uncomfortable."

"don't worry I won't I'm ok taking a picture if you're ok with it"

*Ariana looks to her friends and gives them an angry look*

(sigh) fine

*Both of them got inside of the booth*

"oh look it has filters do you want to try it?"

"Oh yeah let's try the stars one I love stars Ariana giggled oh it's starting"

*They both posed for the camera. After they were done talking the pics the pics were printed and it came out of the side of the photo booth before Kendrick and Ariana could even look at it Mina and the other girls got to it first.*

"Aww you guys look so cute together"

"Shut up!" Ariana said as she gives another angry look to her friends

*Kendrick giggles*

"Well here you go you both can have a copy

now it's our turn let's go!!"

*Timeskip*

"Guys I'm tired I want to sit down"

"oh let's go to the movies let's watch a horror movie"

*They all agreed They went to the movie theatre bought tickets popcorn and drinks

And sat down in their seats. Ariana looks at the screen waiting for the movie to play*

"So are you a fan of horror movies"? Kendrick asked

"Well not really," Ariana said nervously

"Well don't worry I'm here for you if you get scared"

"Okay, thanks!" Ariana said relieved

what are they talking about? I don't like him but does he like me? AHAAHHAHHA NOT A CHANCE Ariana thought

*Instead of everyone screaming in the movie theater they were laughing instead because of their classmate's dolphin scream*

*Time skip*

"You guys scream like dolphins"

*They laugh*

" well would you look at the time it's almost 5 pm"

"it's still early how about we go to the karaoke and then we go home"

*Everyone agrees They arrive at the karaoke

Some of them were just singing listening to their friends sing because they were too shy to sing but some of them had no shame*

"Guys I'm gonna sing a high note IM IN MY DREAMS AaAAaAAaAAhHHhHhHHHhhHHh nevermind I can't do it"

* Everyone's laugh*

*As Everyone was enjoying singing and laughing Kendrick peaked at Ariana and noticed that her skirt was too short Kendrick walked up to her and put aaa a pillow in her lap Ariana was confused*

"Hey uhm your skirt is too short "

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that Thanks!

*Timeskip They were all tired so they decided to go home After everyone bid farewell and went their separate ways it was just Kendrick at Ariana that was left behind*

"You're not going home yet?" Kendrick asked Ariana

" I'm not tired yet and I don't have anything to do at home so I decided to just hang out for a little bit"

"Oh I see well are u hungry?"

"Kinda I guess"

"Well how about we go to dinner as friends of course my treat I know a great restaurant with a beautiful view and great food and besides my parents are at a business meeting out of town so I'll be alone at home it would be nice If I had someone to eat with so do you want to come?"

"Is he being nice or does he have feelings for me?? *Ariana thought and was confused* Yeah sure I would love to!"

"Great let's go!"
